The Gateway Grizzlies (5-6) and the Evansville Otters (5-6) volleyed the lead five times on Wednesday, but the Gateway Grizzlies came out on top for a 4-3 win on Wednesday at GCS Ballpark - Sauget, IL.

The Gateway Grizzlies finally managed to grab the lead after a strong ninth inning. A sacrifice fly by John Shelby scored Sam Mahoney and gave the Gateway Grizzlies the lead for good.

Mahoney reached base three times in the game for the Gateway Grizzlies. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the seventh inning.
