The bats were busy at Goodall Park on Tuesday, and when the dust cleared the New Bedford Bay Sox (23-14) had a 10-8 win over the Sanford Mainers (12-20).

The teams totaled 27 hits in the game.

The New Bedford Bay Sox would not relinquish the lead as the Sanford Mainers were unable to weather a seven-run seventh inning deficit.

The Sanford Mainers scored on an error, a groundout by Jordan Betts, and an RBI triple by Al Zeiher in the seventh inning and a groundout by Brett Armour, an RBI single by Will Cooper, a single by Ino Patron, , and in the eighth inning. Still, the Sanford Mainers couldn't draw even.

Alex Baldock racked up three RBIs on four hits for the New Bedford Bay Sox. He doubled in the second innings and singled in the fifth, seventh, and eighth innings.

Colton Cross racked up four strikeouts in the the New Bedford Bay Sox win. Cross allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks over five innings.

Nate Jones couldn't get it done on the bump for the Sanford Mainers, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
