Murray allows no runs to lead the New Bedford Bay Sox past the Sanford Mainers 4-0

Donald Murray kept the Sanford Mainers (9-17) off the board during his seven innings of work and the New Bedford Bay Sox (21-12) beat the Sanford Mainers, 4-0.

Murray struck out six and allowed one walk and four hits.

Peyton Hart helped the New Bedford Bay Sox pull ahead for the duration in the seventh inning. After Andy Lalli singled, Hart came to the plate with the game scoreless in the seventh inning and singled, scoring Lalli.

Zach Stone got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the first, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Eric Ashworth was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
