Cody Rogina kept the Bend Elks (24-30) off the board during his six innings of work and the Cowlitz Black Bears (26-28) beat the Bend Elks, 5-0.

Rogina struck out one and allowed no walks and five hits.

Connor Armijo had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Darin Gillies ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
