The Wenatchee AppleSox (33-15) and the Bellingham Bells (28-19) passed the lead back and forth four times on Thursday at Paul Thomas Field at Wenatchee , but in the end the Wenatchee AppleSox pulled out a 5-3 win over the Bellingham Bells.

Ryan Howell got on base three times in the game for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

The Bellingham Bells couldn't get anything going as long as K.J. Edson was on the mound. The Bellingham Bells managed just two hits off of Edson, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his four innings of work.

Andrew Ely did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bellingham Bells, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jared Fisher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
