Derrick Salberg went 2-2, helping the Cowlitz Black Bears (22-24) to a 5-1 victory over the Bend Elks (21-24) on Tuesday at Vince Genna Stadium.

Jon Bjorklund had an impressive outing against the Bend Elks' lineup. The Bend Elks managed just one hit off of Bjorklund, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Travis Radke (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
