A loss looked likely for the Walla Walla Sweets (19-25) when they trailed by no runs in the ninth inning, but the Walla Walla Sweets were able to capture the lead back with a in the tenth inning, spurring the Walla Walla Sweets to a 6-5 win over the Wenatchee AppleSox (28-15) at Paul Thomas Field at Wenatchee on Friday.

Spencer ONeil racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Walla Walla Sweets. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

The Walla Walla Sweets were led by Beau Fraser's hitting. Fraser went 3-5 and drove in one. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the eighth and tenth innings.

Tyler Roberts got the win, running his season record to 2-3. Roberts struck out one, walked none and gave up five hits.

Tyler Kane ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed one run.
