Matt Ozzanne had two extra base hits, helping the Cowlitz Black Bears (19-22) to a 7-4 victory over the Klamath Falls Gems (21-22) on Friday at Story Field.

Cole Irvin picked up the win for the Cowlitz Black Bears. Irvin pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks while striking out four.

Joshua Wong racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Klamath Falls Gems. He homered in the eighth inning.

Brandon Williams brought the heat against the Cowlitz Black Bears during his outing. The Cowlitz Black Bears managed just two hits off of the the Klamath Falls Gems' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Bryan Clough (2-5) took the loss for the Klamath Falls Gems. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Cowlitz Black Bears were sparked by Ozzanne and Austin Wobrock, who teamed up for five hits and six RBIs.
