Both the Kitsap BlueJackets (11-33) and the Bend Elks (19-20) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Kitsap BlueJackets that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 7-3 win at Kitsap Fairgrounds .

The Bend Elks were led by a flawless day at the dish by Shawn OBrien, who went 4-4 against the Kitsap BlueJackets' pitching. He singled in the third, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Michael Holback got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered six hits.
