The Wenatchee AppleSox (27-12) outlasted the Cowlitz Black Bears (18-22) on Sunday after nine lead changes, squeaking out a 7-6 win at Story Field.

Taylor Sparks had three extra-base hits for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He doubled in the third and seventh innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Connor Armijo put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Cowlitz Black Bears. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

K.J. Edson recorded his fourth win of the year for the Wenatchee AppleSox. Edson struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Ian Ekery ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
