The Kelowna Falcons (18-10) and the Klamath Falls Gems (9-19) traded the lead four times on Monday, but the Kelowna Falcons ended up on top with a 9-5 win over the Klamath Falls Gems.

Jerry McClanahan led the Kelowna Falcons' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Greg Velazquez paced the Klamath Falls Gems at the plate. Velazquez went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Cord Cockrill recorded his fifth win of the year for the Kelowna Falcons. He allowed four runs over six innings. Cockrill struck out three, walked three and gave up four hits.

Bryan Clough ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out five.
