The Kelowna Falcons (15-10) and the Corvallis Knights (18-11) passed the lead back and forth five times on Friday at Elks Stadium, but in the end the Kelowna Falcons pulled out a 3-2 win over the Corvallis Knights.
The Corvallis Knights' lineup had no answer for David Ernst. Ernst gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out five during his six innings of work.
Cord Cockrill improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Kelowna Falcons. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. Cockrill struck out two, walked none and gave up two hits.
Taylor Starr couldn't get it done on the hill for the Corvallis Knights, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
