The Walla Walla Sweets scored six runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Hunter Virant, an error, an error, a single by Alex Bonczyk, an RBI single by Kalani Brackenridge, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Spencer ONeil, a single by ONeil, and a groundout by Nick Vilter.
Vilter racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Walla Walla Sweets.
It was a good day at the plate for the Wenatchee AppleSox's Ryan Howell. Howell went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Kyle Kingsley got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered seven hits.
Lawrence Chew couldn't get it done on the bump for the Wenatchee AppleSox, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out three.
