Corey Carma held the Corvallis Knights (18-9) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Bellingham Bells (17-9) to a 1-0 victory.
Carma allowed four hits, no walks and struck out one.
Johnny Farrington helped the Bellingham Bells take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Jonny Locher to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Grant Fink. Finally, Farrington came to the plate with the game scoreless in the sixth inning and singled, bringing home Locher.
A.J. Burke ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed one run.
