The Kelowna Falcons (13-10) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the Bend Elks (11-12) roared back to steal an 8-3 victory at Vince Genna Stadium.
The Bend Elks took the lead in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Grant Newton.
Jordan Copeland went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for the Bend Elks. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.
The Kelowna Falcons were led by Tyler Qualls's hitting. Qualls went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the third innings.
Josh McAlister improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Bend Elks. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Alex Gebert ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
