The Walla Walla Sweets (12-15) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-1 to the Bellingham Bells (17-9) on Saturday.
The Bellingham Bells took the lead in the fifth inning on an RBI single by Johnny Farrington.
Farrington had two extra-base hits for the Bellingham Bells. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth and ninth innings.
Jared Fisher's nine strikeouts were enough to push the Bellingham Bells past the Walla Walla Sweets. Fisher allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks over eight innings.
Matt Imhof (0-1) took the loss for the Walla Walla Sweets. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
