The Kelowna Falcons (13-5) pounded the Bend Elks (8-9) on Sunday 7-1 at Elks Stadium in seven innings.

The Kelowna Falcons scored three runs in the sixth on an error and a two-run double by Kyle Moses.

Moses racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Kelowna Falcons.

The Kelowna Falcons got the win thanks in large part to Phil Maton's dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Maton allowed no earned runs, four hits and one walk over six innings.

Brent Jones ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
