The Walla Walla Sweets (4-10) had a tough outing on Wednesday, as the Kelowna Falcons (8-5) dominated in a 13-1 win at Elks Stadium.

The Kelowna Falcons scored five runs in the second on an RBI single by Jerry McClanahan, a single by Andrew Firth, an RBI single by Patrick Johnson, , an RBI single by Jace Conrad, and a single by Kyle Pearson.

McClanahan had two extra-base hits for the Kelowna Falcons.

Alan Scott shut down the Walla Walla Sweets while he was on the mound. The Walla Walla Sweets managed just two hits off of the the Kelowna Falcons' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Cord Cockrill got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Kyle Kingsley couldn't get it done on the mound for the Walla Walla Sweets, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.

The Kelowna Falcons hammered the Walla Walla Sweets pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 16 hits, 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
