David Ernst kept the Kitsap BlueJackets (9-25) off the board during his six innings of work and the Kelowna Falcons (15-10) beat the Kitsap BlueJackets, 6-1.

Ernst allowed four hits, one walk and struck out six.

Kyle Pearson racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Kelowna Falcons. He homered in the third inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Kitsap BlueJackets' Kasey Chapan. Chapan went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Nolan Amundson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out three.
