The Cowlitz Black Bears (3-6) didn't stand a chance on Thursday, as the Kelowna Falcons (4-3) captured a blowout 11-3 win at Elks Stadium.

The Kelowna Falcons scored five runs in the seventh on a double by Andrew Firth, , , an error, and an RBI single by Ryan Stajduhar.

Tyler Qualls racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Kelowna Falcons. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Juan Padilla picked up the win for the Kelowna Falcons. Padilla allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Ben Swinford was solid at the plate for the Cowlitz Black Bears. Swinford went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Brian McAfee (0-1) took the loss for the Cowlitz Black Bears. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
