Sunday was a great day for Brandon Marris, as Marris tossed seven scoreless innings to carry the Kelowna Falcons (1-2) to a 12-1 victory over the Kitsap BlueJackets (4-6) at Elks Stadium.
Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Kelowna Falcons to easily put away the Kitsap BlueJackets. A two-run single by Tucker Alexander in the second inning helped the Kelowna Falcons put some runs on the board early.
Alexander racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Kelowna Falcons.
Josh Flyer couldn't get it done on the mound for the Kitsap BlueJackets, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked one and struck out one.
