The Kitsap BlueJackets (4-5) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Bellingham Bells (5-2) on Saturday.

Corey Carma looked sharp on the mound. The Kitsap BlueJackets managed just three hits off of the the Bellingham Bells' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Allen Hewey ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
