The Bellingham Bells (1-2) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Wenatchee AppleSox (2-1), and the Bellingham Bells lost 5-3 to the Wenatchee AppleSox after falling behind by four runs in the fifth inning.

The Bellingham Bells scored on a two-run double by Jake Peevyhouse in the fifth inning and an RBI single by Grant Fink in the sixth inning. Unfortunately, the Bellingham Bells weren't able to take the lead back.

The Wenatchee AppleSox's #Gerhard Muelheims was perfect at the dish, going 1-1. He doubled in the fifth inning.

The Wenatchee AppleSox relied on #Beau Kerns to eat up innings en route to the win. Kerns pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, three hits and two walks while striking out four.

Fink was solid at the plate for the Bellingham Bells. Fink went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run.

Davis Engel (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
