The Kitsap BlueJackets (3-0) and the Cowlitz Black Bears (0-3) traded the lead six times on Sunday, but the Kitsap BlueJackets ended up on top with a 4-3 win over the Cowlitz Black Bears.

Brandon Alvarez had a hot bat for the Kitsap BlueJackets. Alvarez went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Allen Hewey baffled the Cowlitz Black Bears, striking out six batters. Hewey allowed one earned run on eight hits and no walks over six innings.

Brian Frattali led the Cowlitz Black Bears' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Sean Prihar got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over one inning. Prihar struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Leko Galusha couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Cowlitz Black Bears, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
