The Wenatchee AppleSox uses big sixth inning to beat the Bellingham Bells, 11-3

A six-run explosion in the sixth inning led the Wenatchee AppleSox (7-2) to an 11-3 win over the Bellingham Bells (6-3) at Joe Martin Field on Saturday.

#Gerhard Muelheims helped the Wenatchee AppleSox take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Cabe Reiten singled to start the sixth. He then went from second to third on a single by #Connor Huesers. Finally, Muelheims came to the plate with the score tied at two in the sixth inning, and singled, bringing home Reiten and Reiten.

#Jordan Osborn racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He singled in the third, sixth, and eighth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Zach Abbruzza improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He allowed two runs over five innings. Abbruzza struck out two, walked three and gave up five hits.

Chris Harper couldn't get it done on the mound for the Bellingham Bells, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
