The Kitsap BlueJackets (3-0) and the Cowlitz Black Bears (0-3) passed the lead back and forth six times on Friday at Kitsap Fairgrounds and Special , but in the end the Kitsap BlueJackets pulled out an 8-7 win over the Cowlitz Black Bears.

The Kitsap BlueJackets would not relinquish the lead as the Cowlitz Black Bears were unable to weather a three-run sixth inning deficit.

The Cowlitz Black Bears scored two runs in the ninth on a two-run home run by Jordyn Van Atta. Unfortunately, the Cowlitz Black Bears weren't able to take the lead back.

Taylor Brennan reached base four times in the game for the Kitsap BlueJackets. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third, sixth, and eighth innings.
