Charlie Jones had two extra base hits as the Colorado Sox (1-1) took home a 7-5 victory over the Game Day, CO Saints (1-1) at LawrenceDumont Staduim Wichita on Monday.

The Game Day, CO Saints had no answer for Conner Schmidt, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Game Day, CO Saints managed just one hit off of Schmidt, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Phillip Cruz racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Game Day, CO Saints. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Blake Ware ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

Parker Clough, Trevor Kehe and Jones helped lead the Colorado Sox. They combined for six hits and five RBIs.
