Marc Mumper collected three hits, helping the Liberal Bee Jays (2-0) to an 8-7 victory over the Park City, KS Rangers (1-1) on Sunday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

The Park City, KS Rangers couldn't get anything going as long as Jakob Hernandez was pitching. Hernandez held the Park City, KS Rangers hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

The Park City, KS Rangers were led by Channing Williams's hitting. Williams went 3-6, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Tabor Charles was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
