McGeein's two-run blast propels the Lethbridge Bulls past the Medicine Hat Mavericks, 5-4

Four first-inning runs helped the Lethbridge Bulls (25-17) to a 5-4 win over the Medicine Hat Mavericks (29-15) at Athletic Park on Monday.

Lachlan Mayo racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lethbridge Bulls. He homered in the first inning.

The Medicine Hat Mavericks had no answer for Terrell Dorsey, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Dorsey held the Medicine Hat Mavericks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Tanner Jesson-Dalton improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered 10 hits.

Caleb Duhay (2-2) took the loss for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
