Connor Shobe went 1-1 as the South Florida Huskies (8-16) took home a 4-3 victory over the Florida Pokers (14-12) in seven innings on Saturday.
He singled in the third, fourth, and seventh innings.Hadley Stone pitched lights out for the South Florida Huskies. Stone held the Florida Pokers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six.
Despite the loss, the Florida Pokers' Sean Gabel dominated the South Florida Huskies' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.
Mason Kleist (1-2) took the loss for the Florida Pokers. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
