The Victor RailRiders (18-18) used a four-run explosion in the seventh inning to get past the Utica Blue Sox (26-13) 8-2 on Saturday at Donovan Stadium.

The Victor RailRiders scored in the seventh on an RBI double by Nick Russo, a two-run double by Russo, and an RBI single by Jack Zagaja.

John Conti led the Victor RailRiders' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Jake Casey picked up the win for the Victor RailRiders. Casey allowed one earned run, five hits and four walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Jared Baldinelli got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Craig Prince (1-2) took the loss for the Utica Blue Sox. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out two.
