Jack Whitwere knocked in four runs, helping the Sacramento Heat (9-19) to a 6-3 victory over the California Bees (10-17) on Saturday at Terra Linda HS.

Blake Edmonson pitched lights out for the Sacramento Heat. The California Bees managed just one hit off of the the Sacramento Heat's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out one during his four innings of work.

Justin Kottinger improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Sacramento Heat. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Sam Reinertsen (2-1) took the loss for the California Bees. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out four.
