Tristen Carranza came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as Carranza reached on a wild pitch in the four to lead the Amsterdam Mohawks (21-11) to a 2-1 win over the Oneonta Outlaws (19-13) on Tuesday at Shuttleworth Park.

With the game scoreless in the fourth inning, plating Tyler Frank.

Frank led the Amsterdam Mohawks' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Griffin Roberts got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Tyler Brown (1-3) took the loss for the Oneonta Outlaws. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
