Antonio Baglivo was cold coming off the bench, but Baglivo warmed up quickly as Baglivo stroked a key pinch-hit single in the eight to lead the Oneonta Outlaws (6-4) to a 5-4 win over the Geneva Red Wings (4-6) on Friday at Damaschke Field.
With the Oneonta Outlaws trailing by two, Baglivo came to the plate and singled, bringing home Kyle Ruedisili.
Carter Austin racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Oneonta Outlaws. He singled in the sixth inning.
Baglivo got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Baglivo struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.
Joseph Polanski couldn't get it done on the hill for the Geneva Red Wings, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
