Kyle Skeels went 1-2, helping the Albany Dutchmen (27-20) to a 1-0 victory over the Oneonta Outlaws (24-24) on Friday at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field.
He singled in the first inning.The Oneonta Outlaws had no answer for Dylan DAnna, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Oneonta Outlaws managed just one hit off of the the Albany Dutchmen's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.
Cal Lawrence pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out one.
Lawrence ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
