Evan Warden kept the Springfield Sliders (12-10) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Lafayette Aviators (10-12) beat the Springfield Sliders, 6-0.

Warden struck out one and allowed two walks and four hits.

The Lafayette Aviators blew out the Springfield Sliders thanks to 13 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Lafayette Aviators scored three runs in the fifth on the Lafayette Aviators scored in the fifth on a two-run single by Bryce Evans, a two-run single by Evans, and an RBI single by Ben Dickey.

Riley Benner got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Lucas Hall (0-2) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
