The Brockton Rox (0-1) had a tough outing on Thursday, as the Nashua Silver Knights (2-0) dominated in a 6-0 win at Campanelli Stadium.

The Nashua Silver Knights scored two runs in the ninth on a groundout by Charlie McConnell (Northeastern University) 

McConnell racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Nashua Silver Knights.

The Brockton Rox had no answer for Drew Fischer (Amherst College), who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Fischer held the Brockton Rox hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out seven.

Justin Lasso  (UMASS) (0-1) took the loss for the Brockton Rox. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
