The game between the Elmira Pioneers (32-14) and the Elmira Pioneers went into extra innings, but when the last out was recorded the Elmira Pioneers emerged with a 6-5 victory.

Drake Sykes was hot from the plate for the Geneva Red Wings. Sykes went 3-5 and drove in one. He singled in the first, eighth, and ninth innings.

Cody Thompson recorded his third win of the year for the Elmira Pioneers. He allowed four runs over two innings. Thompson struck out none, walked three and gave up four hits.

Patrick Connor ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
