Austin Keen held the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (27-19) scoreless for six innings to boost the Amsterdam Mohawks (34-14) to a 11-3 victory.

Keen struck out five and allowed one walk and one hit.

The Amsterdam Mohawks' bats came to life in the fifth inning. In the inning the Amsterdam Mohawks scored eight runs. The Amsterdam Mohawks scored in the fifth on an RBI triple by Andruw Gazzola, an RBI single by Chris Givin, a three-run home run by Joe Genord, an RBI single by Nick Patten, and a two-run single by Gazzola.

Genord racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Amsterdam Mohawks.

Jonathan McKinney couldn't get it done on the mound for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked six and struck out four.
