Teddy Cillis had two extra base hits, sparking the Amsterdam Mohawks (33-14) to a 7-2 victory in eight innings over the Oneonta Outlaws (24-22) on Thursday at Damaschke Field.
He doubled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning.The Oneonta Outlaws couldn't get anything going as long as Mike Bonaiuto was pitching. Bonaiuto held the Oneonta Outlaws hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Mark Giallanzo couldn't get it done on the bump for the Oneonta Outlaws, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
