Nate Cardy went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Glens Falls Dragons (18-27) to an 8-5 victory over the Elmira Pioneers (31-13) on Wednesday at East Field, Glens Falls, NY.

Andrew Kneussle had an impressive outing against the Elmira Pioneers' lineup. The Elmira Pioneers managed just two hits off of the the Glens Falls Dragons' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Brian Kelly did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Elmira Pioneers, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Andrew Sipowicz (4-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
