The Newark Pilots (26-20) blew out the Adirondack Trail Blazers (11-34) 7-1 on Tuesday at Colburn Park after pouring on four runs in the fourth inning.
The Newark Pilots scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Jon Schafer, a two-run double by Darian Herncane, and an RBI single by Chase Cockrell.
Chris Sharpe had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning.
Sam Harrington struck out five hitters en route to the the Newark Pilots win. Harrington allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over six innings.
Dylan Borawski (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked none and struck out four.
Schafer, Herncane and Sharpe helped lead the Newark Pilots. They combined for seven hits and six RBIs.
