The Utica Blue Sox (31-17) jumped out to an early lead on the Victor RailRiders (23-25) and captured a 9-2 victory on Tuesday at Victor High School.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Utica Blue Sox left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Taylor Olmstead, a sacrifice fly by Mitchell Clandra, and a sacrifice fly by Robbie Young during the first inning and an RBI double by Franklin Jennings in the second inning fueled the Utica Blue Sox's offense early.

Jared Baldinelli went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Utica Blue Sox. He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Craig Prince racked up eight strikeouts in the the Utica Blue Sox win. Prince allowed two earned runs on two hits and two walks over seven innings.

Keyshawn DOrso was hot from the plate for the Victor RailRiders. DOrso went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the fifth inning.

Luke Tomczyk was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in six innings, walked five and struck out four.
