A walk-off sacrifice fly from Joe Preziuso brought home the winning run for the Elmira Pioneers (31-11) in a 3-2 victory over the Utica Blue Sox (28-16) in 13 innings at Dunn Field on Sunday.

Preziuso led the Elmira Pioneers' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game.

Troy Dixon did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Elmira Pioneers, reaching base four times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Danny Madden recorded his first win of the year for the Elmira Pioneers. He struck out none, walked four and surrendered no hits.

Chad Burrows (4-3) took the loss for the Utica Blue Sox. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
