Franklin Jennings knocked in three runs, sparking the Utica Blue Sox (28-15) to a 9-4 victory over the Adirondack Trail Blazers (10-32) on Friday at Robert Smith Sports Complex .

Brandon Orbe was hot from the plate for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. Orbe went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second and sixth innings.
Michael Klingensmith recorded his second win of the year for the Utica Blue Sox. He allowed four runs over six innings. Klingensmith struck out four, walked three and gave up seven hits.
Mitchell Boyer (0-6) took the loss for the Adirondack Trail Blazers. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out five.
