The Newark Pilots (22-18) beat the Jamestown Jammers (22-17) 6-5 on Sunday at Colburn Park behind Mark Tumosa, who went 2-3.

He singled in the third inning.

Hunter Jones went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Jamestown Jammers. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Tysen Fischlin recorded his first win of the year for the Newark Pilots. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered two hits.

Jake Hammon (0-1) took the loss for the Jamestown Jammers. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
