The Geneva Red Wings (8-24) had a tough outing on Sunday, as the Victor RailRiders (15-17) dominated in a 9-3 win at McDonough Park.

The Victor RailRiders scored four runs in the sixth on the Victor RailRiders scored in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Landon Powell, a double by Stephen DiNicola, a single by Adam Genners, and an RBI single by John Conti.

The Victor RailRiders were led by a flawless day at the dish by Genners, who went 5-5 against the Geneva Red Wings' pitching.

The Victor RailRiders relied on Brian Reed to eat up innings en route to the win. Reed pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, nine hits and one walk while striking out five.

Adam Carafotes paced the Geneva Red Wings at the plate. Carafotes went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, seventh, and ninth innings.

Alec Jordan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
