The Newark Pilots (20-16) didn't have a chance on Sunday, as the Jamestown Jammers (18-15) won in blowout fashion, 9-2 at Diethrick Park.

Ben Brookover racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Jamestown Jammers. He singled in the first and fifth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Chris Sharpe led the Newark Pilots' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Matthew Franco improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Jamestown Jammers. He allowed two runs over five innings. Franco struck out four, walked two and gave up three hits.

Quinton Logan was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
