An ace performance by Bradley Griggs led the Jamestown Jammers (17-15) to a 3-0 win over the Newark Pilots (20-15) on Saturday at Diethrick Park.

Griggs pitched lights out for the Jamestown Jammers. Griggs held the Newark Pilots hitless over seven innings, allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out six.

Skyler Valentine got on base three times in the game for the Jamestown Jammers.

Sam Harrington (1-1) took the loss for the Newark Pilots. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
