Hunter Szaflarski had two extra base hits, sparking the Glens Falls Dragons (10-17) to a 5-2 victory over the Albany Dutchmen (15-15) on Wednesday at East Field.
He singled in the first and third innings, doubled in the fifth inning, and tripled in the sixth inning.Bryan Warzek struck out 12 hitters en route to the the Glens Falls Dragons win. Warzek allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks over seven innings.
Evan Giles couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Albany Dutchmen, taking a loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
The Glens Falls Dragons were sparked by Szaflarski and Chris Kwitzer, who teamed up for six hits and four RBIs.
